The Ophelia project is the brainchild of creativity, dreams, and early aerospace innovations. Ophelia aims to make launch vehicles 100% eco-friendly while opening opportunities for minorities across California. A project that would have a positive impact on Earth.
OUR MISSION
Making Earth a little cleaner one rocket at a time.
My name is Adam Iglesias. The Ophelia project was nothing more than something that started as an idea. With research and enough brainpower, I plan to reach the goal of a test launch in the year 2025. At Ophelia Aerospace the need for the gaps of race and gender inequality within the aerospace industry is the main focus. Currently, only 3.6% identify as Black/African American, only 9.9% identify as Hispanic/Latino, and only 10.4% identify as Asian.
HIRING
Ophelia will not hire based off the color of your skin, race, or gender but your qualifications.
COMMUNITY
Ophelia aims to spread STEM education through engaging presentations to underserved communities across California.
INTERNSHIPS
Ophelia also aims to make internship opportunities for high school and college students in communities all over L.A., specifically South L.A.
